Getting children to talk about their school day is not always easy. Below are some good starter questions you could use to get the conversation flowing:
What made you laugh today?
Who were you kind to today?
Which subject was your favorite todate?
What did you do today that made you feel proud?
What was the best part of your day?
Did you help anyone today and how did it make you feel?
Who did you sit with at dinner time?
Give these questions a go with your child - it might take a little probing but you just might find out a little more about them.
